Get Involved in Kelp Restoration

There are many ways to get involved in supporting kelp restoration in Greater Farallones National Marine Sanctuary.

Greater Farallones Kelp Restoration Network (formerly KELPRR) is a communication forum organized by Greater Farallones National Marine Sanctuary. It is virtual and open to the public. You can learn more about statewide collaboration efforts and receive information about kelp research, community projects, and restoration activities. It also provides an opportunity to learn about local activities and get involved in local projects. Please contact angela.zepp@noaa.gov for more information and to be added to the email list.

The Greater Farallones National Marine Sanctuary Advisory Council advises the sanctuary superintendent on priority issues and connects local communities with the sanctuary. The advisory council provides an opportunity for information exchange on issues affecting the health of the sanctuary. Find a council representative to share your ideas or attend a Sanctuary Advisory Council meeting.
